SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State earned its fifth straight Summit League Commissioner's Cup and set a new league record with its 10th overall, the conference office announced Monday. The Jackrabbits claimed the top spot by earning 94 total points between their men's and women's programs and also swept the Dr. Helen Smiley Women's All-Sports Award and Dr. William Steinbrecher Men's All-Sports Award.

The top-seeded Jackrabbits ended the season with a 15-0 record and extended their overall winning streak to 29 games. Montana, seeded second, ended the campaign with a 13-2 overall record.

Mark Gronowski was honored Saturday night as the winner of the Walter Payton Award.

SDSU, which received a first-round bye in making its 12th consecutive appearance in the FCS playoffs, ended the regular season unbeaten.

South Dakota State put the finishing touches on a perfect regular season for the first time in school history, defeating Missouri State, 35-17.
