A second prostitution arrest in less than a week has taken place in Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls Police Spokesman Sam Clemens says Street Crimes Officers saw an ad on the internet and then contacted the woman.

"They met the woman at a southwest apartment building. She was dropped off by a man. Officers stopped the car. He was not tied into this prostitution. But, the officers found some meth inside the car. He was arrested for those drug charges. The woman, who was working alone, was arrested for prostitution. She also had some meth and marijuana with her...drug charges were filed against her."

Clemens says prostitution is big business in Sioux Falls.

"There is a lot of prostitution that's going on in the city. We know that Sioux Falls is not immune from that. We are doing what we can to find people involved in this crime. The other goal is to find the people that are being trafficked or forced into doing this. That's really our main focus with all of the prostitution investigations."

Clemens identified the woman arrested on prostitution as 24-year-old Cortney Ann Langford of North Mankato, Minnesota. The man that was also arrested is 23-year-old Dylan Scott Lutter of North Mankato, Minnesota.
