We always say that the Great Plains Zoo & Delbridge Museum of Natural History is one of the great undiscovered treasures of our area. If it has been awhile since you've been there, you just don't know what you're missing! This Saturday is the perfect day to visit the zoo with your children because it is Zippity Zoo Day!

All of the days fun activities will happen from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m and are free with paid zoo admission or membership! There will be live entertainment from two of Sioux Falls' best children's entertainers- -Phil Baker and Do Re Let's Play! There will be face painting, carnival games and lots of inflatables.

The "Creature Features" program will allow kids to get close to several of the zoo's animal ambassadors. Families can enjoy hourly "Keeper Chats" about the zoo's well-known citizens like the rhinos and flamingos.

New this year, Zippity Zoo Days welcomes the Arby's Hungry for Happiness truck, which is traveling across the U.S. to provide wholesome meals for children at-risk of hunger during the summer months. You will find them by the zoo's African Savannah where they will be handing out 800 of Arby's delicious roast beef sandwiches on a first-come, first-served basis. The Arby's crew will also have fun activities for everyone to try, like Plinko and Wii games too!
