You Could Play Sioux Falls JazzFest

Sioux Falls JazzFest is THE party of the summer (as evidenced by the crowd shot taken above right before we brought Joe Walsh to the stage last summer!) Every year we have about a dozen national bands play the main stage and we have 10-12 local and regional bands fill the second stage. Several of the second stage bands have come back at a later date to play the main stage too.

This year, we want to fill the bill with some of the most talented and crowd-pleasing artists we can find and that means YOU!

If you are in a band and want to be considered for JazzFest's Second Stage please send a press kit before March 1st with music sample to:

If you're not in a band, tell your friends that are IN bands to get their packages in right away so they can be considered.

And here's a tip. If you don't make it on this years bill, don't give up! We've had 700 bands submit to play the main stage and we can only use 8-10!

Sioux Falls JazzFest is one of the premier music festivals in the country, and it's FREE!

Last year, main stage performers included: Joe Walsh, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, JJ Grey & Mofro, Kelley Hunt, James Cotton, Sena Ehrhardt Band, Monophonics and more.

Past JazzFest main stage performers include: Buddy Guy, Joe Bonamassa, Jonny Lang, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Kenny Wayne Shpeherd, Elvin Bishop, John Hiatt, Little Feat and so many more.
