Florida, the state that brought us alligator wrestling, has a new aquatic activity you can participate in with a feared predator. Wild Things, a private zoo in Dade City, is now allowing its visitors 30 minutes in the pool with a tiger cub for $200.

In interview with Fox 13, Wild Things' president Randy Stearns dismissed the notion that this a recipe for disaster. "It's not like we're going to just throw you in the pool and say, 'Here's the tiger,'" he told the station. "You're in there with at least one of the trainers actually in the water with you."

According to Stearns, tigers are natural swimmers because they have webbing between their toes.

Included in the price is "a CD with photos of your experience, including action shots and posed shots in the water with your cub."

However, if you've had your fun with the cub and want an aquatic frolic with an adult tiger, you're out of luck. Florida law states that the public can only have contact with big cats under 25 pounds.

Of course, you can follow up your tiger-cub jaunt with a pool party that includes Ally, a four-foot gator who also lives at the zoo. This is Florida, after all.
