Woman Raped at Sioux Falls Domestic Abuse Shelter

A Sioux Falls man is accused of breaking into a domestic abuse shelter and raping a woman early Monday.

Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says the 43-year-old woman was staying at "My Sister Friend's House" with one of her children when she was attacked:

Clemens says 47-year-old Heath Douglas Big Eagle was located and arrested Monday afternoon at his home in the 200 block of South Summit Avenue. He is charged with second-degree rape, first-degree burglary and violation of a protection order.
