Winter Weather Advisory Through Sunday

Old man Winter has a little left for us. Why? Who knows. It must be tournament time.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been posted for Sioux Falls and several surrounding counties until 4:00 AM Monday.

The advisory is for snow and blowing snow. According to the FEMA alert app, the snow could be falling at the rate of 1" per hour during the heaviest times.

Snow accumulations will average 3 - 4" with some areas receiving close to 5".

The winds will be the bigger story today and tonight. Wind will increase to 30 - 35 MPH reducing visibility and creating difficult driving conditions.
