Friday's snow event brought Sioux Falls around 4 inches of snow. And with that on the ground it looks like even more is headed our way for Saturday.

The tri-state area could see snow accumulations of 5 to 7 inches of wet heavy snow. The watch area is for portions southeast South Dakota, northeast Nebraska, northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota.

The NWS is saying to plan on difficult travel conditions and significant reductions in visibility. Snow may be heavy at times. Locally higher amounts if they occur will be
refined in future forecasts.

Remember a Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
