I see by my Big Book of Stuff that October 15 has been proclaimed National 'Dine With TV Dinners on the Floor Night.' Anyone else grow up eating Banquet frozen dinners as a kid?

It was a Sunday night staple in our house. That was the rare time Mom would let my sister and me eat in front of the TV so we could watch "The Wonderful World of Disney."

Even to this day, I every now and then get a "hankering" for a Banquet Frozen Chicken Dinner. That was - and still is - my all time favorite.

Salisbury Steak comes in a strong second though, followed by Sliced Turkey.

Why I don't know, but there always seemed to be that one piece of carrot that would end up in the dessert tray, mixed in with the apple cobbler. Suppose they did that on purpose?

So if you're looking for a fun idea for dinner tonight, introduce your kids to the wonderful world of TV dinners. You'll create some great memories!
