Well, actually, WE don't have the answer but rather TIME Magazine does.

Their reporters recently worked with the folks at CandyStore.com and figured out what the most popular Halloween candy is for every state in the U.S..

Turns out Skittles, Reese's Cups and M&M's were the top three most popular Halloween candies across the country.

Skittles and Reese's Cups have sold more than 3 million pounds annually over the last decade, M&M's about 2.7 million.

In South Dakota the number one Halloween candy is Starburst, followed by Jolly Ranchers and then Candy Corn.

In Minnesota it's Tootsie Pops, followed by Skittles and then Almond Joy.

In Iowa it's Reese's Cups, followed by M&M's and then Butterfinger.

In Nebraska it's Sour Patch Kids, followed by Salt Water Taffy and then M&M's.
