Can you hear me now? Maybe not if you're eyes are glued to a digital device.

A new study finds when you're staring at a screen it interferes with your ability to listen. It's a phenomenon known as screen deafness.

Because we process both sight and sound at the same, the small region of the brain that has limited processing capacity has to choose either one or the other.

Simply put, researchers say we just don't have the bandwidth to do both at the same time.
