What Will Richard Sherman Do if His Child is Born on Super Bowl Sunday?

A very important decision is looming for Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and it has nothing to do with the opponent in Super Bowl XLIX the New England Patriots.

It does however, have to do with the impending birth of his child.

Sherman's girlfriend is pregnant and due this week and if the birth falls on Super Bowl Sunday, Sherman will have a interesting decision.

Early on Thursday, Sherman said that he would wait to see what happens first before making a decision, but he sounded as if he was considering all his options.

I personally, want to be at every birth of my children and with my wife being currently seven months pregnant, I would make sure no matter what that I was there.

All that said, I don't even have to think about being a participant in the Super Bowl or anything of its magnitude in the next few months, so my opinion is just that, an opinion.

So the question becomes, what will Richard Sherman do if his child is born on Super Bowl Sunday?

Sherman will continue to prepare in Arizona and we'll see if something happens with his girlfriends pregnancy that may have one of the best players in the NFL absent come Super Bowl Sunday.
