Team Marketing Report has released its annual Fan Cost Index, which states the New York Jets are charging the highest average ticket prices in the NFL.
Non-premium tickets will set a Jets fan back to the tune of about $117.94, which is a 2.5 percent increase from last year and just 10 cents higher than what their AFC East rivals, the New England Patriots, are charging.
Last year’s Super Bowl champions, the New York Giants rank third this year with an average ticket costing $111.69.
The Chicago Bears have decided to dig deeper into their fans pockets this year, as they reportedly had a 9.2 percent increase in their average ticket price -- the highest increase in the NFL, with a total of $110.91 per ticket. The team took fourth on the list, while the Dallas Cowboys placed fifth.
Cleveland Browns fans can still attend a game without taking out a second mortgage on their homes, with the team charging the lowest average ticket price, somewhere around the $54.20 mark. The Buffalo Bills, at $58.36, and Jacksonville Jaguars, at $59.54, finished slightly ahead of Cleveland.
