Back in the late 70's and early 80's when I was in high school and college, we didn't have cell phones, internet, or even home computers. But we had school spirit! We'd paint the rock in front of the school, paint our faces on game day, wear the school colors and uniform and cheer like crazy.

Some dedicated Kansas University female students decided to take their fandom to a new level last year and with the help of camera phones and social media, they've become a hit as they wanted to boost their teams' spirit.

So they started posting pictures of their cleavage 'supporting' the KU Jayhawks. Call it a 'boobment'. The original KU Boobs Facebook page has over 12,000 fans (and growing by the minute) they have over 19,000 Twitter followers. And they've spurred a LOT of imitators like: Florida’s @UF_Boobs, Alabama (@bamaboobs), Auburn (@wardamnboobies), Arkansas (@arkboobs) and Vanderbilt (@vandyboobs).

My daughter, son in law and granddaughters live in Kansas and are all proud Jayhawks fans. The 'Papa' in me hope they don't take up THIS level of super-fan though!

But I wonder if we can start a fan group like this for the radio station???
