Last night, Metallica gave the first rock concert at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The new home of the Minnesota Vikings saw the live premiere of Metallica’s new single, “Hardwired,” and it can be viewed above.

According to Setlist.fm, “Hardwired” opened the encore of the 19-song show, which pulled five songs from Metallica and saw a cover of the traditional Irish song, “Whiskey in the Jar.”. The group streamed the show live via Pandora and their website, and will make it available for purchase soon (they are currently accepting pre-orders for it).

“Hardwired” is the de facto title track of their next album, Hardwired …To Self-Destruct, and it’s arriving on Nov. 18. It’s their first record since 2008’s Death Magnetic, although they released Lulu, a collaboration with Lou Reed, in 2011. Hardwired’s 12 songs are spread out over two CDs, and is also available in a Deluxe Edition that adds a third disc that contains the riffs that inspired the record and “Lords of Summer,” the song they debuted in 2014.

Drummer Lars Ulrich said that Hardwired hearkens back to their first album, 1983’s Kill ‘Em All in that the songs are “simpler … but not quite as progressive.” “We introduce a mood and we stick to it, rather than songs we’ve done where one riff happens and we go over here and then over there and becomes a journey through all these different soundscapes. …It cruises along a little bit more than the last record.”

Metallica have one more show penciled in for 2016, the Global Citizen Festival on the Great Lawn at New York’s Central Park on Sept. 24.
