Telltale still has yet to make any official declarations about The Walking Dead, Season 2's release, but that hasn't stopped Steam or Major Nelson from breaking the silence.

Major Nelson posted the upcoming release slate for Xbox Live on his site on Tuesday, revealing the planned drop date for the first episode of The Walking Dead, Season 2. Set to arrive on Dec. 18, "All That Remains" will cost $4.99 on its own, or you could purchase the season pass for $14.99. This will save you $5 in the long run when all five episodes are released.

Additionally, starting next week, the first season of The Walking Dead will be on sale for 66 percent off each episode. Of course, the first episode is still available for free, so you'll be saving quite a lot if you somehow still haven't manged to buy one of 2012's best games.

For its part, Telltale teased a bit of Season 2's gameplay with a short Vine. It doesn't offer much, but we did get a bit misty-eyed watching.

At least we don't have much longer to wait to find out what happens to Clementine. Now we just have to hope all of the other new projects Telltale's taken on for 2014 don't delay individual episodes of The Walking Dead or The Wolf Among Us.
