Police Spokesman Sam Clemens says a fight outside a bar in central Sioux Falls on Tuesday afternoon ended with one arrest.

"The bartender kicked out two guys from the business for arguing. They continued arguing outside the establishment. It escalated into a fight," said Clemens.

"One of the men pulled out a knife and started swinging it. One of the victim's hands was cut. The victim also had a cut in the back of his head. The two scuffled some more before going on their separate ways."

That's when the bartender called police.

"We found the suspect nearby. He was arrested for aggravated assault. The victim didn't have any real injuries. He refused medical treatment."

Clemens identified the suspect as 48-year-old Joseph Omaha of Wagner, South Dakota.
