We should all be proud of Sioux Falls.  Proud of how our community comes together to help one another.

On Saturday, September 21st volunteers are needed to help clean up a 2.5 mile area of the Ellis & Eastern Railroad corridor that runs through central Sioux Falls.

According to Katrina Lehr-McKinney lead of the All Saints Neighborhood Association, “Many neighbors in All Saints comment on the state of the property adjacent to the tracks.  Trash litters the railway ditches and is an eyesore.  If we can work together with the railroad company to fix this problem, we are happy to do so!”

This civic activity is a joint venture between Pettigrew Heights Neighborhood Association, All Saints Neighborhood Association, the Downtown Residents Association, and the 10th & Western Neighborhood Association, along with Ellis & Eastern and the City of Sioux Falls.

All volunteers who lend a had will be invited to lunch following the project at the Pettigrew Heights Triangle Park at Grange & 11th St.

If you are interested in helping with this effort, please contact Katrina Lehr-McKinney at 605.275.2191 or allsaintsneighbors@gmail.com.
