Looking for a way to give back to your community? Check out the Helpline Center’s 'Volunteer Sioux Falls Volunteer EXPO' to find the perfect volunteer experience for you.

More than 40 nonprofit agencies will be set up at the 'Volunteer EXPO' from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM Saturday, October 22nd, at the Washington Pavilion.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to inquire about volunteer needs, and participate in family-friendly, hands-on volunteer projects.

Susie Ryks is Volunteer Services Director with the Helpline Center.

“If you or your family is looking for a volunteer opportunity that fits your talents and interests, the Volunteer EXPO is the perfect place for you. It’s a low-pressure event where people can find out more about what’s out there in terms of volunteer opportunities while having a little fun with some hands-on projects.”

New this year will be a' Project Center' on the 2nd floor, where attendees can spend more time volunteering and helping make and assemble projects.

Sponsors include: Great Western Bank, Capital Services, Kouri Insurance, A&B Business Solutions, Maximizing Excellence, and the Washington Pavilion.
