If you're a Vikings fan like me you are still stunned by the missed 27 yard game winning field goal by kicker Blair Walsh.

With the field goal the Vikings would more than likely have beaten the Seahawks to advance in the playoffs.

Vikings Coach Mike Zimmer simple said this about Walsh's missed kick with 22 seconds left in the game: "It's a chip shot.  He's got to make it."  Zimmer went on to say "I've never been more proud of a football team."

Despite all that happened Blair Walsh is a class act and he took full responsibility.

Walsh responded to reporters by saying: “The whole thing is on me. Jeff Locke did his job, Kevin McDermott did his, I’m the only one who didn’t.  These guys deserved to win and we didn’t.”

Just after that is when the tears came. He started crying, then sobbing. Then something really cool happened.

His teammates, one by one, came over to hug and comfort him.

Football is a team sport. You win as a team and you lose as a team.  You can tell a lot about a person by how they respond to the losses.  The Vikings players showed real class.
