Unique Father’s Day Gifts
Father’s Day is Sunday, June 16. Instead of getting Dad just an ordinary tie, get him a wooden tie. Yes, a tie made of wood. If your dad loves golf and is pretty good on the BBQ grill, for only $28 you can buy him the Golfer’s BBQ Set.
Be creative this year. Here are some homemade ideas that your dad will love.
Make a “basket” out of a tool box. Fill the tool box with a new tape measure, a can of WD-40, duct tape, a utility knife and a gift card to Nyberg’s Ace.
Have your kids make Dad homemade coupons that say “One Car Wash,” “Mow the Lawn,” “Take Out the Trash,” “Breakfast in Bed” and whatever else you can think of.
In a basket or bucket (tin or plastic), fill it with his favorite beverages, chips, peanuts, candy and a gift card to Hy-Vee.
If your dad likes to fish, buy a tackle box and fill it with lures, hooks, floaters and throw in a gift card to Dakota Angler.
If your dad is a bacon freak, find a bunch of bacon-flavored products and put them in something shaped like a pig.
Gift cards are optional, but are a nice touch. I would suggest going to a craft store for more ideas on the packaging.
Remember, it doesn’t matter how fancy it is, your dad will love whatever you give him.
