A police and K-9 search of the parking lot at Roosevelt High School turned into trouble for two students on Wednesday.

Officer Sam Clemens says the officers and dogs searched the lot Thursday morning, and marijuana and paraphernalia were found in a 17-year-old male student's car.

Clemens says a dog also "hit" on another vehicle, and while no marijuana was found, officers did find four knives.

He says a knife with an 18-inch blade was found in the trunk and three smaller knives were found in the glove box.

He says the 18-year-old male student who owns the car was charged with having a weapon on school grounds.
