Townhouse Fire in Sioux Falls Sends Two People to the Hospital

A townhouse fire in Sioux Falls landed two residents in the hospital briefly.

Firefighters responded to a call around 1:00 AM on Friday, August 19, 2016, as flames were reported to be emanating from the back deck of a townhouse at 2809 East Bragstad Drive.

Fire crews rescued two people from inside the home. Crews had the blaze contained within 10 minutes of arriving.

The residents were taken to Sanford Hospital for an evaluation. Their condition is not known at this time.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
