When it gets cold, I love curling up on the couch with my afghan and Miss Kitty and watching movies. Some of my favorite holiday movies when I was a kid were A Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. They're perennial classics - movies that I have to watch every year at Christmastime.

Over the years, I've added a few more favorites to my list.  Here's my list of Top 10 best quotes from Christmas movies.  These are lines that either make me laugh every time I hear them, or they are quotes that really make you think about the real reason for the season.

What quotes would you add to the list?

"Seeing is believing but sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can't see."

    Home Alone

"I took a shower washing every body part with actual soap; including all my major crevices; including inbetween my toes and in my belly button, which I never did before but sort of enjoyed. I washed my hair with adult formula shampoo and used cream rinse for that just-washed shine. I can't seem to find my toothbrush, so I'll pick one up when I go out today. Other than that, I'm in good shape. Ahhhhhhhhh"

    A Christmas Story

Ralphie: "I want an official Red Ryder carbine-action two-hundred-shot range model air rifle."

    Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph: Hey, Clarice? After practice, would you... would you...

Comet the Coach: Rudolph! You get back here! It's your turn, you know!

Rudolph: Gee, I gotta go back! Would you walk home with me?

    Clarice: Uh-huh. Rudolph? I think you're cute.

Rudolph: [jumping around] I'm cute! I'm cuuuuuuuute! She said, I'm cute!

    How the Grinch Stole Christmas

It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes, or bags. Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas means a little bit more.

    A Charlie Brown Christmas

"Isn't there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?"

    Elf

There are SO many quotes from this movie that are awesome, like:

"SANTA! Oh my God! Santa's here! I know him, I know him!"

"This place reminds me of Santa's workshop except it smells like mushrooms and everyone looks like they want to hurt me."

    Christmas Vacation

My favorite Christmas movie of all time! SO many quotes.

Clark: Where do you think you're going? Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no. We're all in this together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm holiday emergency here. We're gonna press on, and we're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny f*&^ing Kaye. And when Santa squeezes his fat white a** down that chimney tonight, he's gonna find the jolliest bunch of a**holes this side of the nuthouse.

Cousin Eddie: "Merry Christmas! Shitter was full."
