New England’s Tom Brady and Atlanta’s Devonta Freeman are leading the NFL MVP race through Week 8 of the NFL season.

After he won the Deflate Gate case against the NFL, he went on what I call the “screw you rampage," and Roger Goodell has to be looking at Brady right now with disgust and embarrassment for trying to suspend him.

Brady not only got off on deflate gate, but has now been basically unstoppable in every game this year with the undefeated Patriots.

He has 2,410 passing yards with a 68.9 completion rating as well. Brady has had a very impressive season with 20 touchdowns and only one interception.

Just as impressive, Devonta Freeman has emerged onto the scene as one of the biggest play makers in all of the league.

After starting running Tevin Coleman went down in week two with fractured ribs, Devonta Freeman got the start for Atlanta.

Currently, Freeman is in second place in my opinion for MVP because he has been just as unstoppable rushing as Brady has been passing.

To this point, Freeman has rushed for 709 yards this year on only 152 attempts and has punched it in nine times already.

Freeman has also had a hand in the passing game for Atlanta as well; he has hauled in 40 receptions for 353 yards and a touchdown.

On Sunday against Tampa Bay, he had 88 yards on the ground and six catches for 43 yards, which makes this his first game of the season without 100 yards or a touchdown.
