The best odds for the Timberwolves in the NBA Draft lottery were to land either the 6th or 7th pick and they did exactly that when they snagged the 7th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Timberwolves fans are hoping this trend of lottery selections will end sooner than later, but for the time being with a very deep draft class, it could be a great time to add to the young core of future stars already in Minnesota.

Towns, Wiggins and LaVine are all under 22 and three years from now this team could be loaded and who knows, this year's seventh pick could be a big part of it all as well.

Last year in the lottery, the Twolves selected point guard Kris Dunn.

The complete draft lottery looks like this:

1.  Boston Celtics (from Brooklyn)

2.  Los Angeles Lakers

3. Philadelphia 76ers (via Sacramento pick swap)

4.  Phoenix Suns

5.  Sacramento Kings (via Philadelphia pick swap)

6.  Orlando Magic

7. Minnesota Timberwolves

8.  New York Knicks

9.  Dallas Mavericks

10. Sacramento Kings (via New Orleans Pelicans)

11.  Charlotte Hornets

12.  Detroit Pistons

13.  Denver Nuggets

14.  Miami Heat

The 2017 NBA Draft will take place on June 28th.
