This year there will only be three Heisman Trophy finalists in New York as the votes came out and the finalists were announced on Monday.

Derrick Henry of Alabama, Christian McCaffrey of Stanford and Deshaun Watson of Clemson all made the final cut and will have to wait until Saturday to find out who is the winner.

Henry has ran all over the place for the Crimson Tide this season and has been the catalyst for that offense. He has rushed for 1,986 yards and scored 23 touchdowns.

For my money, Christian McCaffrey should be the Heisman Trophy winner. Since Reggie Bush was dominating college football, McCaffrey is the closest thing to keeping me on the edge of my seat as a true playmaker.

Look at these stats for McCaffrey: 1,847 Rush Yds., 8 Rush TD, 41 Rec., 540 Rec. Yds., 4 Rec. TD, 1,042 KR Yds. Flat out unbelievable.

Deshaun Watson is the QB on the #1 team and we've seen in the past that be the right formula to win the award. He has passed for 3,512 yards, 30 passing touchdowns, 887 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns.

The 2015 Heisman Trophy presentation will take place in New York on Saturday, Dec 12th on ESPN.
