Thousands Without Power [AUDIO]

Joe Anderson of Xcel Energy tells KSOO Radio 26 thousand customers are without power Wednesday morning.

"We have pulled resources in from Minnesota and North Dakota along with contract crews from Iowa.  They are currently being dispatched.  Monday evening, we had 17 thousand customers. During the evening, it escalated to 26 thousand."

Anderson predicts all the power might be restored Thursday afternoon.  Buth that could change. "With the forecast of heavy snow, conditions will change.  We will make headway today.  But  with the snow and wind Wednesday evening, we could be in the same situation on Thursday."
