This Weekend in the Sioux Empire
It might be the first weekend in December, but it's going to feel more like September in the Sioux Empire. Lots of things to do again this weekend, including playing golf? Here are a few things going on:
SIOUX EMPIRE COMMUNITY THEATER PRESENTS ‘THE HOBBIT”…7pm Friday. 11am and 4pm Saturday and 4pm Sunday at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Sioux Falls.
SIOUX FALLS STAMPEDE…Friday 7:05pm at the Sioux Falls Arena. The Stampede host the Des Moines Buccaneers.
TONIC SOL FA HOLIDAY TOUR…Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm at the Washington Pavilion. Tickets are $28-$33
SIOUX FALLS STAMPEDE…Saturday at 7:05pm at the Sioux Falls Arena. The Stampede host the Lincoln Stars.
DOWNTOWN HOLIDAYS FESTIVAL…Visit downtown Sioux Falls on Saturday and see carolers, strolling instrumental groups, carriage rides and Santa visits.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AND LANES. Get into the Christmas spirit this weekend by taking a tour of the wonderful Christmas lanes throughout the Sioux Empire.
CHRISTMAS AT THE WESTERN MALL…Now through January 1st. See the digital light display set to holiday music. Free-will donations support Make-A-Wish of South Dakota.
WINTER WONDERLAND AT FALLS PARK...the 10th annual Winter Wonderland at Falls Park is a dazzling display of holiday lights for all ages. Falls Park will “light up” nightly from now January 6, 2013. See thousands of lights throughout the park turned on for the season, Santa & Mrs. Claus, reindeer and animal friends, music and refreshments will be available throughout the evening. Falls Park entrances will be closed throughout the evening to drive through traffic.Park downtown and ride the free trolley to Falls Park on Saturdays from 10am-8pm.
A GRASSLAND CHRISTMAS LIGHT SHOW…Now through January 1st at 2805 North Lyme Grass Avenue. Nightly from 5-10pm. See a musical display of holiday lights. Free-will donations will be accepted with 100% of the proceeds going to the Sioux Falls Humane Society.
