Taking a cruise may be in your future to an exotic locale with white sands and warm breezes.  But, what if you were offered just the opposite?

Alaska maybe?  Thing more North!

The first luxury cruise ship scheduled to sail through the Northwest Passage is set to sail this August.

Ice, and lots of it along with views of polar bears, whales and other arctic wildlife will be observed.

The 820-foot Crystal Serenity will depart from Seward, Alaska  and will travel the sea route connecting the Pacific and Atlantic oceans by way of the Arctic Ocean.

Crossing the Gulf of Alaska, Bearing Sea and the north coast of Alaska and Canada.  The excursion will have passengers arriving in New York City on September 17th.
