The Summit League is about ready to crown another champion in Sioux Falls, and this time it will be on the baseball diamond.

This year's tournament will once again be played at Sioux Falls Stadium. This is the third time Sioux Falls has hosted the tournament, as they also hosted in 2011, and 2014. The Summit League Baseball Championship takes place Wednesday through Saturday.

Oral Roberts is the top seed entering the tournament after going 25-5 during the regular season. South Dakota State is the second seed and will play the night game on Wednesday night. North Dakota State, and Fort Wayne are the other two schools in The Summit League to qualify.

The format of the tournament will be double elimination. Teams will all play on Wednesday with the losers meeting in the early game on Thursday. The two winning teams will then play on Thursday night. Only one game will be played on Friday, and the championship will be crowned on Saturday.

The winner of The Summit League Baseball Championship will receive an automatic bid into the NCAA Baseball Tournament.

Tickets for the event are $45 for an all-session pass. Single game tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for kids 12 and under.
