Teen Killed in SW South Dakota Crash

A teenager from southwest South Dakota died late Thursday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash near Interior, in Jackson County.

The Highway Patrol says 14-year-old Kylerae Todd of Interior was westbound on a rural road shortly before 7pm when she lost control of her SUV, went into a ditch and rolled.

Troopers say she was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle.

She died at the scene.
