The Tedeschi Trucks Band have announced a run of tour dates for this summer.

The Wheels of Soul Summer Tour kicks off on June 29 with a to-be-announced show, and with a date in Tuscaloosa, Ala., the following night. The month-long run – which currently is slated to wrap up on July 28 and 29 in Morrison, Col., with a pair of dates at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre – will feature Drive-By Truckers and the Marcus King Band as opening acts on all dates.

“We all draw from some of the same roots,” Derek Trucks said in a news release announcing the tour. “But we also share a different perspective than your typical Southern rock bands do. I have a lot of respect and admiration for the Truckers’ songwriting. It’s an honest take on the world we live in.”

You can see the list of tour dates below.

These 20 new dates follow another tour by the band that kicks off this weekend in St. Petersburg, Fla., and will keep them on the road through mid April. The Wheels of Soul Summer Tour marks the fourth time the 12-member Tedeschi Trucks Band have hit the road under the "Wheels of Soul" banner during the warm months. Their latest album, Live From the Fox Oakland, is nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album.

Tickets will be available for the Wheels of Soul Summer Tour as a fan pre-sale starting tomorrow at 10AM local time. The public on-sale for most of the other shows starts on Jan. 12. You can find more information about the shows at the band's website.
