Ted Nugent Signs on to Texas Political Campaign

Ted Nugent has signed on as the co-chairman and treasurer of a Texas Republican's campaign to become the state's next Agriculture Commissioner. Nugent calls former state representative Sid Miller an “American blood brother. I believe in guys who stand by the Constitution. I believe in guys who represent ‘we the people’ and common sense.”

Hall of Fame pitcher and businessman Nolan Ryan is reportedly considering a run against Miller for the Republican nomination. Singer-author Kinky Friedman is seeking the Democratic nomination, running on a campaign to legalize marijuana.
