Despite the afternoon threat of severe weather that shut the festival down for an hour or so, AND two other sold out shows in town (REO Speedwagon at Grand Falls Casino and country music superstar Tim McGraw at the WH Lyon Fairgrounds) the lure of a beautiful evening and free concert headlined by Sheryl Crow was enough to draw a rumored record crowd to Yankton Trail Park for the final day of JazzFest 2013.
The Scott Holt Band, Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band and the North Mississippi All Stars all brought their 'A' games to Sioux Falls Friday night (July 19) for an incredible night of music in Yankton Trail Park.
Trampled Under Foot and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dr. John helped draw a great crowd to Yankton Trail Park Thursday night (July 18) and both bands impressed with outstanding performances.
The North Mississippi All Stars, who will headline Sioux Falls JazzFest Friday (July 19) have some hall of fame help on their new record as Robert Plant joined them in the studio in Memphis last week.
