Drummer Matt Cameron has shot down rumors that Soundgarden and Pearl Jam will tour together in 2013, according to Blabbermouth. Speculation about a joint tour -- based around the fact that Cameron plays drums for both bands -- started with an Australian radio station, which theorized that the trek could take place after Pearl Jam issues a new album next year.

Eddie Vedder Blasts Mitt Romney Over ’47 Percent’ Comments

Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder blasted Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney over the latter's "47 percent" comments during a fundraiser for incumbent President Barack Obama, according to the Associated Press. Romney has drawn harsh criticism for comments he made at a May fundraiser, which were disclosed last week on a video, in which he characterized the approximate 47 percent of the U.S. population that doesn't pay federal income tax -- while still paying a number of other taxes -- as people who saw themselves as victims entitled to government handouts.

Rumor: Soundgarden & Pearl Jam To Tour Together?

An Australian radio station has theorized that Soundgarden and Pearl Jam could be planning a joint tour together in 2013, according to Classic Rock magazine. Australia's "Radar Music" has suggested that with Soundgarden's new album coming out this November, and Pearl Jam expected to deliver its next set in 2013, the only way for both bands -- who share drummer Matt Cameron -- to promote their new music is to tour together, with Cameron doing double duty every night.
