We had the rare opportunity to spend a couple evenings with one of the greatest guitarists ever this week when Walter Trout did a two night 'residency' at Old Skoolz in Sioux Falls.

Blues/Rock guitar great Walter Trout will be in Sioux Falls at Old Skoolz this Tuesday and Wednesday night.

Since their 2011 debut, the Sena Ehrhardt Band have been making their mark on the national blues scene picking up several award nominations including two Blues Blast nominations this year including Rising Star and Best Song. Friday night (August 2) was their fourth appearance in Sioux Falls and in that time, the Rochester, Minnesota-based band has become like family.

Two past Sioux Falls JazzFest main stage performers are coming back to town in August to play intimate shows at Old Skoolz!

Cole Allen is a rising star in the Blues world. This Minneapolis singer/guitarist has his debut CD out this month, is joining the Sena Ehrhardt Band for their summer tour, and his family is from the Volga, SD area.

Up and coming blues singer/guitarist Cole Allen has ties to two past Sioux Falls JazzFest performers and will bring his brand of Minnesota Blues to town Friday at Old Skoolz.

The Scott Holt Band and their "Loud is Good" tour rolled into Sioux Falls Friday night (April 26) and left the sold out crowd yelling for more after a searing three hour show!

Scott Holt found his musical calling relatively 'late' at 19, but once the blues bug bit, Holt started on a ride that continues to this day and rolls into Old Skoolz in Sioux Falls this Friday (April 26)

Jason Elmore and Hoodoo Witch rolled into snowy Sioux Falls from Texas on Saturday night (April 20) bringing not only the blues, but influences of jazz, country, rock & roll and even a little metal to the party!

Dallas, Texas based guitarist/singer/songwriter Jason Elmore and his band Hoodoo Witch are making their way to Old Skoolz in Sioux Falls this Saturday.
