Neil Young was already having a pretty lousy decade when ‘This Note’s for You’ was released on April 11, 1988. It didn’t start out that awful, with the folksy ‘Hawks & Doves’ and the Crazy Horse album ‘Re-ac-tor’ in 1980 and 1981, respectively.
Neil Young is back on the road again -- but instead of working with Crazy Horse or Buffalo Springfield, he's tooling around in his handmade fuel-efficient hybrid vehicle, called the Lincvolt. He's even blogging about the journey, which has included stops at California's Joshua Tree National Park and the Imperial Sand Dunes.
On March 20, 1968, a genuine rock and roll all star bust went down. At the home of then girlfriend of Stephen Stills, nestled in the legendary Topanga Canyon of California, members of Buffalo Springfield were getting a little out of hand.
Wanting to do his part to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy, Neil Young has announced that, on Dec. 6, he and Crazy Horse will play a benefit concert at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, N.J.
