NBC Orders More ‘Whitney,’ ‘Community’ Fans Collectively Groan

Granted the two series aren't actually in competition, 'Community' fans grudge against 'Whitney' has just gotten even bigger.  Where once both series were scheduled to debut on Friday, October 19, NBC opted to delay the launch and fit each in at a later date.  'Whitney' quickly got placement into the failing 'Animal Practice' slot, leaving 'Community' to rot until February, so how could things get any worse?  When NBC orders even more scripts for the critically-maligned 'Whitney,' of course!

Huh. Alright then. Earlier today we learned a bit more about why NBC seems to have decided not to move forward on the Bryan Fuller-helmed 'Munsters' reboot 'Mockingbird Lane,' reportedly owing to disagreements over just how quirky and "Fuller" the world outside the actual 'Munsters' should be. Given 'Hannibal's' latest round of castings, including typically comedic performer and 'SNL' vet Molly Shannon, might Hannibal Lecter's world be in for the same treatment?
