New Freddie Mercury Documentary Out On DVD
October 4, 2012 Newly released is the groundbreaking new documentary on Freddie Mercury, called, The Great Pretender. The doc was produced with the full cooperation of the Mercury estate and Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor, both of whom appear throughout the film. The Great Pretender focus primarily on Mercury's solo projects outside of Queen -- including his ill-fated early-'80s team-up with Michael Jackson and his solo albums -- 1985's Mr. Bad Guy and 1988's Barcelona with opera great Montserrat Caballe.

Sunday night's Sunflower Jam in London was one of those nights of rock revelry you dream of. Classic rock artists from across the spectrum joined together for one cause, to play a set full of unexpected collaborations and covers. Alice Cooper, Brian May of Queen, John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin and Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden were just a few of the rockers on hand for the annual charity event.

September 18, 2012 Queen guitarist Brian May, Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones and Alice Cooper were among the artists who came together Sunday night at London's Royal Albert Hall for the annual Sunflower Jam, a benefit for cancer research founded by Jacky Paice, wife of Deep Purple drummer Ian Paice. Also on the bill were Paice and Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson.
