Sioux Falls Police and Animal Control were notified earlier this week after the sudden death of a dog on W. 39th st. in Sioux Falls.

Megan Struwe, the owner of two dogs, reported that one of her dogs, Ziggy, died after eating a bologna she believes was laced with rat poison. Her other dog, Turbo, fell ill at the same time and is receiving car at a veterinary clinic.

No other related incidents were reported and Sioux Falls Animal Control is still investigating as autopsy reports and toxicology samples are forthcoming.

Turbo is expected to make a full recovery thanks to the great staff at All City Pet Care South. There will be a Reward for any information about who did this!" - Megan Struwe - Go Fund Me page

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help defray the medical costs of Turbo's recovery.
