Three weeks after Stevie Nicks released the first song from her upcoming solo album, she's unveiled a lyric video for another track. And this one, simply titled 'Lady,' is a straightforward piano ballad that puts the focus on Nick's voice.

Unlike 'The Dealer,' the first song to come out from '24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault,' 'Lady' doesn't feature much more than Nicks, a piano and a stripped-down vulnerability hanging over both of them. You can listen to the song above.

Like the rest of the songs on '24 Karat Gold,' 'Lady' originally started life a while ago. Back when it was called 'Knocking on Doors,' the song also was rather spare, featuring just Nicks and a piano (and most likely originates from her Buckingham Nicks days). Most fans are familiar with the cut in its rough demo form, so this new album version is somewhat of a revelation. We particularly like Nicks' worn-in vocal here.

'24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault,' which will be released on Oct. 7, will include 14 newly recorded songs that Nicks laid down as demos between 1967-95 -- some for Fleetwood Mac, some intended for her solo records. Longtime and devoted fans are probably familiar with most of these numbers since Nicks has said the album project stemmed from the unauthorized versions that have surfaced online over the years.

"Each song is a lifetime," Nicks said in a press release announcing the album. "Each song has a soul. Each song has a purpose. Each song is a love story. …They represent my life behind the scenes, the secrets, the broken hearts, the broken hearted and the survivors. These songs are the memories."
