Steven Tyler was spotted in Music City Tuesday night as he made his performance debut at Nashville’s Bluebird Café. He was a surprise guest during a writers in the round featuring Aerosmith’s longtime collaborator Marti Frederiksen, along with Mallary Hope, Phil Barton and Lindsey Lee.

Tyler sang “Jaded,” which he wrote with Marti, and he accompanied himself on keyboard for “Dream On.” Afterward he tweeted, “It was a knockout last night. Oh how things are looking up.”

Tyler will be on the tube next Tuesday when he makes an appearance on The Dr. Oz Show.
