As he's done with his last two albums, Bruce Springsteen made an appearance on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' Tuesday night for the release of his new 'High Hopes'.

Springsteen admits that the majority of the songs on the new record are songs he's had sitting around for awhile , but says they were definitely not throwaways, instead they're songs that barely missed the cut when finalizing tracklistings of the last several albums.

'High Hopes', his 18th studio album, was released yesterday (Tuesday) and he celebrated the release last night on NBC's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. He and the E Street Band did three songs off the album -- the title track, and "Heaven's Wall." "Just Like Fire Would" was performed just for the studio audience.

We included the above video with the Boss and Fallon doing the "Governor Christie Jam". He may be the Boss, but he's never afraid to have some laughs or poke fun at himself.
