The University of South Dakota will venture into PAC 12 territory in 2014.

The Coyotes will make their first-ever visit to Eugene, Oregon to play the Ducks, August 30th, 2014.  In a USD press release, head coach Joe Glenn said:

This is an opportunity for our team to see one of the top programs in the United States and play in one of the nation’s best facilities.

It will be an experience that our players will be able to share with their children and grandchildren.

Financially, it helps out our department and helps make ends meet.

Oregon will be the seventh FBS opponent for the Coyotes in five seasons and first from the Pac-12 Conference. South Dakota is taking on Kansas this season on Sept. 7. The Coyotes’ signature win against an FBS opponent was a 41-38 victory against Minnesota in 2010.

USD finished 1-10 last season.  The Coyotes will play at Kansas this season.
