PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota high school seniors have an opportunity to apply to a national science education program that will take place this summer in West Virginia.

The National Youth Science Camp is a residential science education program. Two seniors from each of the 50 states will receive full scholarships to attend the camp sponsored by the National Youth Science Foundation.

The camp is scheduled for June 26 to July 20. The students will have the chance to complete hands-on research projects and exchange ideas with scientists and other professionals during the camp.

Applications are available at www.nysc.org and must be submitted to South Dakota's state selection coordinator by Feb. 15.
