South Dakota State’s Zach Zenner and Bryan Witzmann, South Dakota’s Tyler Starr are Pre-Season All-Americans

A trio of players local players have achieved pre-season status from The Sports Network.

SDSU running back Zach Zenner, offensive lineman Bryan Witzmann, and South Dakota linebacker Tyler Starr are on The Sports Network FCS Preseason All-America Team. Zenner and Witzmann are first team selections, Starr is on the second team.

Zenner led FCS in rushing last season with 2,044 yards, while Witzmann has started at left tackle each of the Jackrabbits' 35 games over the past three seasons, earning first-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference last season.

Starr was an All-MVC honoree last season with 74 tackles and four sacks.
