Law enforcement agencies from South Dakota and Minnesota are working together in a 19-hour joint operation on the Interstate 90 corridor in the two states.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol, the Minnesota State Patrol and other local, state and federal agencies are working from 6am until 1am tomorrow, between Chamberlain and Fairmont, Minnesota, to prevent vehicle crashes and stop criminal activity.

South Dakota Highway Patrol Captain Kevin Joffer says they're also covering major state and county secondary roads that feed onto I-90.
