Police arrested a man over the weekend who was wanted for assaulting an officer after they say he led officers on a 100 mph chase near Wagner.

Police said Sunday the man was charged with various offenses, including misdemeanor reckless alluding following the chase on Saturday. They say he violated his parole and will be charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault of an officer with a deadly weapon.

He faces up to 25 years in prison for each charge if he's convicted.
