At least 2 absentee ballots were found to be incomplete for the upcoming Sioux Falls citywide election on April 8th.

The mistake was discovered this week as a husband and wife were preparing to cast their vote for the Sioux Falls City Council Central District race.  Candidates Rebeccca Dunn and Michelle Erpenbach were omitted from the ballots held by Tom and Gail Rogers who live in Sioux Falls’ Central District.  The couple contacted Dunn who in turn alerted Minnehaha County Auditor Bob Litz to the situation.

The election for candidates to the Sioux Falls City Council, Referred Laws, Initiated Measures, Charter Amendments and Sioux Falls School Board is April 8.
